How do I get my photos?

Once everything is done, I will send you a link to a custom gallery that contains all of your finished photos!

How many photos do I get?

This depends on the type of shoot and the length of the session you purchase. There are reference numbers with most packages I have listed. If you need to clarify, please don’t be afraid to ask. I do prefer the quality over quantity method. I would rather deliver 25 hand-picked, edited, and color-graded photos that you actually love over 50 that are just ok.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot everything photo on a Canon R5 with a variety of lenses. I implement different filters and accessories depending on the conditions

For video, I also use the Canon R5. I shoot everything in log and color grade in post. I also use the DJI RS4 as my gimbal and the DJI mic 2 for in-ceremony audio.

I also have a couple of old film cameras you may see me take a shot or two on.

Can I get the raw photos or video footage after our shoot?

In short, no. I shoot everything in log. What does that mean? Well, shooting in Log (logarithmic) for video or picture profile is a setting that records a wider dynamic range of data by creating a flat, low-contrast image. This process preserves more detail in the highlights and shadows, which allows for much greater flexibility in color grading during post-production. All that to say, the footage I get out of the camera is very washed out and almost black and white before I edit it.

What are your primary lenses?

Most things I shoot, I am using a Canon RF24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM and Canon RF70-200mm F4 L IS USM. I do love a good 50mm though.

Do I have to pay for extra files?

Nope! I will let you know how many files I will provide, and you will get everything I have when done. If we get in a groove and I take some extra, they will be given to you at no extra cost.

How much does travel cost?

This will be completed on a case-by-case basis. It all depends on distance and whether or not things like airfare and lodging become a factor. We will work this out together up front.

How many outfits can I wear?

As many as you like. Typically, I will give you a recommendation as to what is best for the session length, but ultimately, that is up to you. You are paying for the time, so just keep in mind the more you have to do between photos, the less time we spend actually taking them.

Are other people allowed?

Of course! Bring as many supporters as you need!

Are pets allowed?

I love animals and will be happy to try and capture photos with you and your furry friend! However, I cannot take care of your friend once you're done with the photos they are in, so please bring someone to watch them. Please consider the fact that this will also take up time, especially if they have a hard time listening and posing for your photos. I cannot guarantee anything, but I am happy to try.

Can I cancel?

Of course! As a father of a young family, I totally understand that life happens! We also live in Colorado where the weather can change in the blink of an eye! I just ask that you let me know as soon as possible so I can plan accordingly. Shoots canceled and not rescheduled, no call no shows, or multiple cancellations in a row are subject to losing the deposit.
